The organization and/or individual using the facility agrees to hold Kent Swim and Tennis Club, its agents, employees and officials, while acting within the scope of their duties, harmless from all causes of action, demands and claims, including the cost of their defense, arising in favor of the organization, the organizations employees, or third parties on account of personal injuries, death or damage to property arising out of the premises or in any way resulting from the willful or negligent acts or omissions of the organization, its agents, employees or representatives.

Kent Swim and Tennis Club Rules and Regulations for use of Swimming Pool Facilities

1. All groups must leave the facility in a condition considered satisfactory to the Manager in charge who will supervise any cleanup activities. Failure to do so may result in additional fees charged to the renting party.
2. Violations of Kent Swim and Tennis Club rules and regulations, policies or procedures or the violation of any applicable city, county, state, or federal statute by the renting party shall be cause for immediate termination.

Pool Rules
1. Lifeguard directions/warnings will be followed at all times.
2. Showers are required before swimmers enter the pool area.
3. Running, pushing, or horseplay is not allowed.
4. Diving is allowed in designated areas only.
5. No one is allowed on starting blocks.
6. Playing on deck equipment (ladders, diving boards rails) is not allowed.
7. No back jumps, back dives, or any type of somersaults from the side of the pool.
8. No shoulder rides or dunking allowed.
9. No hanging or swimming on lane lines.
10. One person on the diving board at a time.
11. Divers must immediately swim to the ladder and exit the pool.
12. One bounce only on the diving board.
13. Divers must jump or dive straight off the end of the board.
14. No running on the dive board.
15. Glass objects are not allowed in the locker room or pool area.
16. Any masks, fins, snorkels, or other swimming aids must be cleared with the lifeguards before use.
17. Children wearing U.S. Coast Guard-approved floatation devices must be within arms reach of a proficient swimmer who is at least 15 years old at all times (One child per adult).
18. Children wearing U.S. Coast Guard-approved floatation devices are not allowed in the dive tank at any time.
19. Kick boards may only be used in the lap lane.

The Pool Manager or Lead Lifeguard on duty is in charge at all times. Their primary concern is health and safety. Therefore, failure to follow above stated rules or any additional rules that are deemed necessary by the Manager will result in the loss of swimming privileges for your group.
