Swim Team Info for Registration
Hello KSTC Families!
It’s that time again. Summer Swim team is about to begin! We will be having an in person informational meeting on Saturday May 14th at 6pm (opening day) at the pool. So excited to see you all in person. Marley, Jared, and Lauren will all be returning to coach your amazing swimmers this year.
REGISTRATION
Registration for swim team 2022 is now open! Please follow this link to register. Cost will be $140 per swimmer and includes a team t-shirt and latex swim cap as well as a $10 per family concession fee. All swimmers must be registered by Thursday May 26th in order to receive the t-shirt. More info on ordering team apparel to come.
PRACTICE SCHEDULES
Swim team practices will begin Tuesday May 31st. Swimmer practice times are based on age. No sign up genius for practices this year and no limit on how many practices you can attend! Come to as many as you can (like all of them)!
Evening Practice Schedule (until school gets out)
-13 and over 3:30-4:45pm
-9-12 4:30-5:30pm
-8 and under 5:15-6pm
Morning Practice Schedule (will send specific date soon, usually follows KSD last day 6/20)
-13 and over 6:45-8:15am
-9-12 8-9:15am
-8 and under 9-9:45am
MEET SCHEDULE AND IMPORTANT DATES
Our home meets are as scheduled:
Thursday June 23rd
Thursday June 30th
Tuesday July 12th (also picture day and senior night)
Tuesday August 2nd (All City)
Please block these dates on your calendar as it takes all of our amazing swim team families to run these meets.
We will have a pancake breakfast the morning of B Champs, Girls Prelims, and Boys Prelims (more info on that to come later)
Swim Team Banquet will be Wednesday August 3rd

TEAM SUITS
We will be ordering team suits from DJ sports again this year. Cutoff for ordering is May 26th in order to get our suits for the first meet on June 23rd. There were some manufacturing issues with suit quality last year. The logos were done in vinyl. If you had issues with the vinyl peeling off and have pictures or still have the suit please reach out to me. I am working with the rep on how to handle this. This year all printing will be silk screened on the suits as they were every other year prior to last year.

Please reach out to me if you have any additional questions or feel free to ask at the meeting on 5/14. For quickest response text me. My work schedule at the hospital is crazy right now and it is easiest for me to check my phone in between patients vs logging into email. I do regularly check email, it just might take a couple of days if I am in the middle of a work stretch. Can’t wait to see you all! Go Kent!
